Wedding Gowns and Qipaos

I love, love, love this gown.  I saw this gown while just flipping randomly through a bridal magazine not long after our engagement and I've been obssessed with it since.  I have tried it on twice now and it's my favorite gown right now but I don't feel 100% about it because the side bustles of this gown look a bit different in person.  I am going to shop a bit more and see how I feel later.
- Update: This is officially my wedding gown!  I know if I had picked another gown, I'd still be thinking about this one.  I can't wait to get my gown when it comes in!

The Runners-Up:

Left: Maggie Soterro's Rhianna - At first I didn't like all the crazy flowers by looking at the dress on the hanger, but the sales consultant suggested I try it on anyways.  To my surprise, it looked really flattering on me and the color is gorgeous.  Two things that led me to decide against it was that the dress looked so much better in antiqued-gold than in white (which is the color I must wear) and that the dress is too popular for me.

Center: Enzoani's Dominique. I almost got this dress.  I found a sample at a bridal shop and tried it on and I love how unique it is, and also the fact that the price was slashed in half!.  I love the top part of the gown and also the train on the back was so beautiful and different.  I love this dress so much that I even liked the bow.  However, before I committed to Dominique, I decided to visit Belgrade one last time just to make sure, and Belgrade still won, so I had to say good-bye to Dominique.  I still think about this dress sometimes - it was so close.

Right: Casa Blanca B010.  The picture Casa Blanca has for this dress does not do any justice.  I can safely say that even I looked better than the model in this dress.  In person, this dress is very classy, regal and lux.  The style is very classic yet modern.  When I first put it on, I thought, "wow, this is really me."  I showed my parents, my oldest brother, and my uncle pictures of me in this dress, and they actually all liked this dress on me better than Belgrade.  However, I just couldn't get Belgrade out of my mind so eventually I let this one go.

I want to take this opportunity to thank my awesome fiance for shopping for a dress with me.  Not every guy can endure these dress-up sessions.  It was such a great experience putting on so many wedding gowns and show them off to him, and also to receive his valuable opinions.  The best part is that he actually enjoyed it, too.

I want to wear a pair of red heels!

These are by Paris Hilton. Yikes!  Hoping they come in red.

Martinez Valero, again, hoping for DARK RED!

Veil inspiration - I like them long and dramatic.  I like a veil like this a lot, but I am not sure if it'd cover up the back detail of Belgrade.

This is a 2-tier fingertip length veil.  It's really hard to find a picture of the veil I have in mind, but this is close enough to serve the purpose.  I want the 2-tier for fullness, and it ends just when the back of the dress gets interesting.  For right now, S prefers this length.  I am going to see if I can change his mind. :P

The Groom's Attire

S doesn't want to decide on what to wear, yet.  He is going to pick out whatever he wants to wear, but I got his ok to pick out his socks. :P
